who we are

A Technology Partner

Most agencies hand over a build and disappear. We stay. FKS Labs works as the engineering function for businesses that need serious software without the cost and risk of an in-house team.

Built for UAE and UK markets

Offices in Dubai and Bury St Edmunds, with direct experience of regional compliance, data residency and procurement expectations on both sides.

Senior engineers, not juniors

You work with people who have shipped production systems, not with a resourcing layer that passes your project down the bench.

Business context, not just code

Our leadership comes from finance and operations as well as engineering, so we understand the commercial logic behind what we build.

Support past launch

Maintenance, monitoring and iteration after go-live, because that is when real usage starts finding the edges.

how it fits together

One architecture, from raw data to the app your team opens.

Most builds fail at the seams. This is the shape of what we deliver, and every layer is ours to own so nothing falls between vendors.

how we work

Four steps from idea to live system.

01

Discovery call

We start with the business problem. What is broken, what it costs you, and what success looks like in numbers.

02

Scope and technical analysis

Our engineers assess feasibility, risk, integrations and effort, then return a scoped proposal with a timeline and a fixed price. No surprise change orders.

03

Build and iterate

Sprint-based delivery with a working demo at every milestone. You see progress weekly and redirect before anything becomes expensive to change.

04

Launch and support

Deployment, documentation, team training and 90 days of included support once the system is live.

common questions

Before you get on a call.

What kind of software development do you do?

Custom web platforms, mobile applications, AI and machine learning systems, ERP implementations and internal business tools. We also provide dedicated engineers who work as an extension of your existing team.

Do you work with clients outside the UAE and UK?

Yes. We have offices in Dubai and Bury St Edmunds and deliver to clients across Europe, the US and the wider GCC. Our team covers UAE, UK and US working hours.

How much does a custom software project cost?

It depends on scope, integrations and timeline. After a discovery call and technical analysis we issue a fixed scope and a fixed price, so you know the full commercial position before the build starts.

How long does a typical project take?

A focused internal tool or MVP usually runs six to twelve weeks. Larger platforms and ERP rollouts run three to nine months depending on data migration and integration complexity. We confirm the timeline at the scoping stage.

Can you take over a project another developer started?

Yes. We regularly audit and rescue existing codebases. We start with a technical review of what exists, then give you an honest assessment of whether to continue the current build or rebuild the weak parts.

What technologies do you work with?

React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, Flutter, Laravel and PHP, with AWS and Azure for infrastructure. On the AI side we work with LLM integrations, custom model training and retrieval-based systems.

Do you provide support after launch?

Every project includes 90 days of post-launch support. Beyond that we offer maintenance and development retainers for clients who want continuous improvement.

let's build

Tell us what you are trying to build.

Bring the problem, not the specification. Thirty minutes is usually enough for us to tell you whether it is worth building, roughly what it takes, and whether we are the right team for it.
